He disagreed with the senator's 'no talk, no mistake' policy The team of presidential aspirant Manny Villar has lost a veteran advertising man, a fallout of the senator's no-talk, play-safe media strategy. This veteran was with Villar for over a year, taking charge of some of his high-profile marketing campaigns. But he had misgivings about Villar’s refusal to talk about the C-5 controversy. He put his arguments on the table—that it was better for VIllar to come clean on the issue immediately—for the campaign team to consider. However, the "no talk, no mistake, stay in controlled media environment" tactic prevailed. The ad man is now with an opposition stalwart, who’s running for a national position. He’s doing a second wave of advertising materials for the opposition figure. Watch out for it. The Inside Track is Newsbreak's intelligencer section.
