As early as 2006, hospital staff discovered it, along with her fatty liver

We've kept this information to ourselves for quite a time. We thought, it's her life, and it’s really none of our business if she wanted padded boobs.

Three years ago, at the height of speculations over what was ailing her because of the several mysterious trips she made to a hospital in 2006, we got this news from an unimpeachable source from that hospital: the laboratory staff weren’t so much shocked by the report that she had fatty liver than by the discovery that she had implanted breasts.

Since that discovery, the buzz went the rounds of the hospital's cozy corridors. When it reached us, it was tough to confirm. Besides, as we said, so what if she had her breasts enhanced?

On July 2, however, The Manila Bulletin confirmed this piece of information. It reported:  “President Arroyo underwent removal and replacement of breast silicone implants at a hospital in Muntinlupa City.”

Again, it's not a crime if she wants them in better shape. Unless, of course, taxpayer’s money was spent on the procedure. In which case, is that grounds for impeachment?

The Inside Track is Newsbreak's intelligencer section. It features the latest buzz on juicy political and business goings on.
